HISTORIC

MY ANTIQUITY COVE

I am crazy about antiquities. It started as a teenage hobby. I handpicked unique curios, artifacts, and memorabilia. I received gifts, kept them safely; many unused. When I stumbled upon rare collectibles here and abroad, I paid hefty sums and brought them home.

Then I ventured into business, took a shop lot in the city and turned it into a showroom; it flourished. Here was where I met my hubby. He pulled me into bigger business. In tears, I gave up my shop and carried my children home. Years passed, I continued with my hobby, and turned my home into a showcase of antiquities and named my haven, 'My Antiquity Cove'.

My collections are from UK, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Asia, and other Nations. They age between 40 - 70 years and several pieces trace back to the early 19th Century. Semi-precious stones, tribal art, and antique jewelries are family heirlooms. My vintage costume jewelries are unique and well preserved.

Much as I love them as they hold fond memories of my life, as of today time to let go some items, and donate part of the proceeds to charity. It will please me they go to people who appreciate their aesthetic value. In turn, may they bring joy and good fortune to the new owners.

Thanks for stopping by, and for your support.

Love at first sight, it was. The set went back to the early 19th Century and before WW2. The shape of dragons sweeping across is hand-crafted, fiery red with gold trimmings, looking beautiful and regal. It amazed me to see a Geisha girl watermark etched at the bottom of the cups.

I agreed to the price with no hesitation or regret and walked home with the set. Every visitor to my home wowed over this colorful, unique tea-set.
